I 12 ettari di vigneto comprendono varietà assai diversificate, ma il suolo calcareo, ricco di minerali, riesce a dare un’impronta comune ai vini esaltando profumi, sapidità e freschezza. Le importanti escursioni termiche che caratterizzano il microclima del parco sono un elemento chiave per ottenere vini che sappiano esprimere finezza ed eleganza.
Qui lo scheletro importante e la presenza di roccia affiorante esprimono talvolta condizioni di aridità e sono la causa di una vegetazione particolare, di una viticoltura non certo vigorosa e di rese/pianta molto basse (1 Kg/pianta, 40 Hl/ha) a favore della concentrazione dei vini.

Park
The entire vineyard is situated on “ronchi,” terraces of ancient construction that form a steep natural amphitheater in the Curone Valley. The vineyard is trained using the espalier system (guyot and spurred cordon) and cultivated according to the principles of organic and integrated farming; the vines are managed using the “soft pruning” method.
The grapes from each single vineyard are vinified separately and the base wines blended with great care and attention, to better express the desired personality of each individual soil, of each vintage, reducing “external” additions to a minimum.

La COSTA
It was 1992 when dad Giordano planted the first Riesling vineyard, marking the beginning of not only the requalification of the land where our vineyards now stand, but also the official production of La Costa wines, with the first harvest in 2000.
Harvest after harvest, the family's enthusiasm has evolved into the knowledge that they can make a small and genuine contribution to valued oenology. Today, after more than 30 years, Claudia Crippa carries on the story of La Costa wines, with satisfaction and passion, with more awareness of the potential and peculiarities of this territory.
Out of rhetoric, wine is first made in the vineyard and the first rule is to respect and enhance the raw material, while supporting a territory that conceals so many gastronomic, cultural and environmental treasures. It is with these values at the base of everything that La Costa since its beginnings has been part of the Terre Lariane IGT Consortium, which works to promote the wine tradition of Brianza and the Lake Como area called "Lario". On our labels you will also find the stamp of the Vignaioli Indipendenti FIVI, the federation that aims to protect the profession of the Vigneron, identified as the one who cultivates his vines, vinifies his grapes, bottles his wine and personally takes care of the sale of it.
